Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge and Oral Implantology is that branch of Dental Science pertaining to the restoration
and maintenance of oral function, health, comfort and appearance by the replacement of missing or lost natural teeth and associated tissues either by fixed or
removable artificial substitutes
Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge of this esteemed institution is one of the oldest established functional departments since the academic year
2000-2001. This department has a well equipped laboratory for fabrication of different types of prostheses by trained personnel.
It has experienced faculty members who are very sincere, energetic & highly professional. Faculty members always take interest in teaching and improving the
standard of academics a Following regular teaching curriculum. Each faculty member shows an interest in learning and practicing the latest developments .
We also have a fully functional maxillofacial unit and have successfully restored maxillofacial defects, leading to patients satisfaction, by providing
them different types of prostheses. The department also has expertise in smile designing and Implantology and has conducted various CDE programmes.
Various research projects have been completed & more are in progress.
To provide an effective educational and assessment strategies for students by intergrated teaching and learning programmes so as to prepare
them for a career in teaching, research and ethical practice to ensure a good oral health care for community at large.
